“A JATAB initiative to promote business ideas (entrepreneurship) among mumineen.” What is JATAB – Investor CONNECT?
‘JATAB – Investor CONNECT’ (“JIC”) is a platform where aspiring & talented business entrepreneurs (Talent Pool) will get the opportunity to pitch their new and innovative business ideas to mumineen investors (Investor Pool).

What is the purpose of JIC?
– Promote entrepreneurship; Connecting talent with Investors.
– Encourage mumineen to explore new sources of business income.
– Identify funding resources for the execution of business ideas.

What is Talent pool – A number of talented mumineen have innovative business ideas and are looking for resources (finance / business partner) to execute their business idea. Due to lack of networking skills / professional knowledge, Talent pool are not able to properly pitch the ideas before investors and therefore fail to execute the business plan.

What is Investor pool – Number of community members looking for diversification, investments in other businesses, exploring alternate sources of Halal income / business options. In normal practice, the investor looks for return on investment and security against the investment. There are a number of other factors an investor should consider before making an investment decision.

What is JATAB role in JIC – JATAB will provide the relevant support, guidelines and share knowledge to both Talent and Investor pool which will allow them to make proper decisions.

How JIC will work?
General Survey– JATAB will send email to Talent and Investor Pool to identify the business sector and type of business which they wish to pursue.

Registration Process – JATAB will send registration forms to selected Talent and Investor Pool where they can register on JIC platform under Talent or Investor category.

Evaluation and Register– JATAB will evaluate and verify the registration forms and register shortlisted Talent and Investor on JATAB Investor CONNECT platform.

Meeting – JATAB will organize a meeting between Talent and Investor Pool based on common interest. Before the meeting, JATAB will support and provide basic guidelines to talent pool how to pitch the new business idea.

Business Venture: JATAB will facilitate Talent and Investor Pool to formalize the terms of Joint Venture in writing (partnership deed from al vazarat) and get Raza & Dua Mubarak from Hazrat e Aliyah.
